Sigh… What a drag…

Sometimes I wonder why I bother going into work at all… I really wonder this sometimes. I feel like I go in, bust my ass, and we’re father behind than we were when I came in. I sometimes wonder why I went to third. Second shift IMS was so much easier. Get in, unload a truck, sorts freight, pull freight, pick, done. You really only do something that’s remotely difficult for maybe 3 hours a day. I’m not saying that I don’t mind the workload from third shift, I love that part of the job. I love being challenged. Life would be boring if it were easy. I’m not sure where these problems are coming from, but I can go to a random bin in the back and find problems in it. For instance, I found a box in one bin that didn’t have any labels on it… What the hell people… There was another box with a count of 6 on it with only 1 item in the box. One HUGE box with one tiny item in it. Come on people, let’s use some common sense here. Wait, common sense would imply that… wait, I’m just going to plead the fifth and shut up now…

Point is, communication, consistency, and honesty are the keys that lead to success… When people take shortcuts, someone else picks up the slack, but it makes the whole system fail…
